After 8 long years, I finally got the chance to visit Disneyland again and man, it was beyond great! I felt like a kid again riding all those cool roller coasters and taking pictures with my favorite Disney characters <3

Upon entering, we saw Donald Duck & Daisy Duck :-)

Had lunch at Tomorrowland and their chicken nuggets were placed in this cool Star Wars box.

While eating, we got to watch the Jedi Training Academy where they were teaching kids how to use lightsabers so they could defeat Darth Vader. Cuties!

Had dinner with the family at Hof’s Hut in Long Beach :-)

They have a lovely selection of cakes and pies.

Here’s what I had! Top Sirloin Steak and Shrimp. I personally liked the shrimp better than the steak, lol.

Nadine had her usual fish and fries. She orders this kind of meal almost every time we eat out. I have no idea why she never gets tired of eating it.

Negene had BBQ Baby Back Ribs! The ribs were so good, I wish I had the whole plate all to myself! I’m definitely going to order this the next time we eat here.

And my mom had Fettucine with Chicken and Pesto, her favorite

Even if my stomach was about to burst, I had to order dessert cause everything looked so good! I had a slice of their fresh strawberry cheesecake and it was one of the best cheesecakes I ever had the chance to indulge on.

And my sisters had a slice of red velvet cake <3

I loved eating at Hof’s Hut! I’ll make sure to ask my mom to take us out to dinner here again. They have a wide variety of good food, plus they make the best bread, cakes and pies! Oh, and the service is excellent too!

1. I’ve been in LA (not Los Angeles City, I’m in Los Angeles COUNTY. But I’m pretty near LA City, lol) for a week now and I’m having the most wonderful time! I’m so glad I got to see my relatives again after so long <3

2. We’re going to Disneyland on Thursday and I cannot wait! It really is the happiest place on earth! The last time I’ve been there was 8 years ago so I sort of forgot what it’s like. I  really cannot wait to go back.

3. I just found out yesterday that Borders no longer exist! It used to be my favorite bookstore and I was so sad when I found out that they filed for bankruptcy a couple of months ago. 

4. Speaking of books, I don’t think I will ever stand reading e-books cause it makes my head hurt. My mom offered to buy me a Barnes & Noble Nook yesterday and I refused cause I pledged to read the printed word. Reading stuff on tablets and computers is fine, but nothing beats reading books that are actually printed on paper.

5. I’m currently downloading Jane By Design and Suits so I could watch something else when my favorite shows are on break. I’ve been reading good reviews about the two and I hope I like them when I start watching.

Before I start with the post, I would like to apologize for the quality of the pictures — I know the lighting is so bad! I had no place else to shoot so I decided to do it in our dining area. 

Anyway, I know I told you guys before that I don’t usually buy high end makeup, but I received an SSI Purple Card for my birthday, and obviously, I decided to use it on MAC products.

I almost hit pan on my Boi-ing concealer, so I’m trying this out to see which one does the job better!

I don’t know if you could see the difference, but See Sheer (left) belongs to the red family and Lustering (right) is leaning towards pink. I’ve had these shades in my wishlist for quite a while now so I’m really happy that I finally have them!

And last but definitely not the least, Immortal Flower blush from the recent Tres Cheek collection! I pre-ordered this from Carefree Shopper and it just arrived this morning. The color is absolutely gorgeous and is perfect for summer/spring! 

There you have it! I hope you’re not getting tired of reading haul posts just yet cause I have a couple more to come when I arrive in the States! My flight’s this coming Friday and I am beyond excited <3
